HOIANA OPEN CUP 2022, 베트남 어린이를 위해 성공적으로 2억 3,000만 VND 모금

[Quảng Nam, April 21, 2022] – Hoiana Open Cup 2022 – “Swing for Children”, the first tournament organized by Hoiana, was successfully held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, with the participation of 120 amateur golf athletes. The event successfully raised 230 million VND for children with disabilities.

On April 16, Hoiana Open Cup took place at Hoiana Shores Golf Club – the award-winning 18-hole championship golf course in Vietnam. This was the first tournament hosted by Hoi An South Development Limited (Hoiana), and it is expected to be held annually.

Hoiana Open Cup – “Swing for Children” welcomed the participation of 120 golf enthusiasts from various regions in Vietnam and around the world. The tournament was held following System 36 Handicap Formula. Shotgun started at 12.00pm and the participants were divided into three divisions for men and one for ladies.

After a whole day of competition, the Best Gross went to golfer Tran Van Hieu with a total of 76 strokes. Golfers in each category such as HIO, Technical Prize, Best Nett & Runners-up also received many attractive prizes from the sponsors like STS, T99, Taylormade.

In the evening, the Hoiana Open Cup Gala Dinner was equally exciting with many activities such as prize presentation, auction, and live music performance. The tournament successfully raised VND 230 million for disabled children in Vietnam. Through “Children of Vietnam” Fund, the donation will be used in supporting and improving their education, health care, and life quality.

Mr. Steven Wolstenholme, President & CEO of Hoiana, although unable to attend the party in person, had a few words to share, “This first Hoiana Open Cup tournament means a lot to us. I want to express my sincere thank you to you all for participating in the event and helping us to reach the donation goal. As CMO, Jit will lead the company’s growth in new and existing markets, broadening its awareness as well as driving preference in an extremely competitive market space. As a passionate and early adopter in Digital, he will continue to accelerate Hoiana’s growth using his arsenal of experiences in his past postings around Asia.

Jit will report to Steve Wolstenholme, President and CEO at Hoiana, and will be one of the key leaders for Hoiana’s continued growth and strategic directions. Along with it, Jit will be responsible for strategic planning, creative development, and execution for marketing across the entire development with the overarching objective to ensure Hoiana’s ability to drive strong preference, and create demand for the brand with existing and potential guests around the world.

“It’s my belief that the role of a CMO is to set the growth trajectory for the brand, with a clear vision for the brand’s future, and to then coach the right talents to bring our vision to life, ultimately achieving all our growth plans.” said Jit Ng. “As a new brand in the market space, or to be exact, a challenger brand, we are the fresh face in the industry. One of the advantages of being new is we’re extremely nimble. Nimble to listen, collaborate, adapt, and change; which is almost impossible in many traditionalist brands.”

Personally, he was also the recipient of A-List by Campaign Asia, and contributed his time to mentor MBA students in universities in China and Australia. Most recently, he’s also an angel investor to aspiring F&B entrepreneurs in Taiwan.

Hoiana 복합 리조트, 꽝남성에 인공호흡기
2개와 개인 보호 장비 기증

[Quang Nam Province, September 14, 2021] – Hoiana Integrated Resort, in collaboration with the program “Help Vietnam Breathe – Vì Nhịp thở Việt Nam” of VinaCapital Foundation (VCF), donated two ventilators and 750 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) level 3 with a total value of nearly VND 575 million (USD 25,000) to Quang Nam provincial Department of Health, joining hands with the local authorities and people of Quang Nam to fight against the current large-scale outbreak.

In the afternoon of September 14, strictly complying with regulations on pandemic prevention, Hoiana Integrated Resort and VinaCapital Foundation donated two Bennett 560 ventilators and 750 sets of PPE level 3 to the Department of Health Quang Nam Province. This medical equipment donation will assist the provincial healthcare system in fighting against the pandemic, strengthen the infrastructure capacity for emergency work and Covid-19 patient treatment, as well as support the medical staff, especially frontline healthcare heroes. The Quang Nam Department of Health will allocate this medical equipment to the areas of most severe critical need.

“Joining hands with the local authorities in fighting against the pandemic is the corporate social responsibility of Hoiana. We are proud to have accompanied the Quang Nam government at all levels in the battle against Covid-19 for the past two years.”, said Mr. Steve Wolstenholme, President & CEO of Hoiana Integrated Resort, “Following our donation of a Covid-19 testing machine valued more than 1.4 billion VND to Quang Nam province, the activity with VCF this time is Hoiana’s latest support to Quang Nam’s healthcare system in order to better control the pandemic, reduce mortality rate and progress towards repelling the disease, ensuring a safe and healthy living and business environment as soon as possible.”

Hoiana Integrated Resort has greatly contributed to many VCF’s programs since 2016. Over the last five years, Hoiana and VCF have provided 38 neonatal intensive care unit equipment that helped to save 604 newborns through Survive to Thrive program, and spent nearly 5.8 billion VND to renovate the school system in Quang Nam province. In addition, Hoiana contributed to saving children with congenital heart defects in 2016 and was one of the major donors in VCF’s disaster relief campaign in Central Vietnam in 2020. This Covid-19 emergency donation is a testament to Hoiana’s continuous commitment in accompanying VCF to improve the country’s medical capacity as well as to bring urgent assistance to the most vulnerable people during the pandemic.

“Help Vietnam Breathe – Vì Nhịp Thở Việt Nam” is a program implemented by VCF to raise funds for purchasing essential pandemic-fighting medical equipment including ventilators and personal protective equipment for hospitals treating Covid-19 patients and thousands of frontline healthcare workers as the pandemic prolongs and the number of newly infected cases increases dramatically. VCF will collaborate with the local authorities to distribute the medical equipment to the areas of most severe critical need. The “Help Vietnam Breathe – Vì Nhịp Thở Việt Nam” campaign has successfully deployed 57 ventilators, one ECMO and thousands of sets of PPE to Covid-19 treatment hospitals in HCMC, Long An, Can Tho, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, and Quang Nam province.

[꽝남성, 2021년 5월 14일] – Hoiana 복합 리조트는 팬데믹 퇴치를 위한 꽝남성의 노력을 지원하기 위해 14억 VND 상당의 코로나 19 테스트 기계를 신속히 꽝남성에 기부했습니다. Attending the handover ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Tan – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province, Mr. Steve Wolstenholme – President and Chief Executive Officer of Hoiana, and representatives of Quang Nam Department of Health, Quang Nam Center for Disease Control (CDC).
“As a fully integrated part of Quang Nam province, Hoiana is deeply committed to supporting the local community and the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province in its fight against Covid-19. Quang Nam province has made significant efforts to prevent and control the pandemic, and we hope that our contribution will help accelerate the Covid-19 testing process and effectively assist with the pandemic control prevention in the province.” Mr. Wolstenholme shared during the handover ceremony.
Hoiana has carried out many CSR activities to support the local community, including furthering initiatives to enrich educational, social, health, and economic development programs. In March 2021, Hoiana handed over new teaching & learning equipment, renovate and build new facilities to three schools in Quang Nam Province including Duy Hai Kindergarten, Duy Hai Primary School and Ngo Quyen Secondary School with the total sponsorship value of 4 billion VND. Previously, in 2020, Hoiana has contributed to various causes with an estimated value of more than 8.5 billion VND.
